Why Are We Transitioning From A Garden Centre To A Garden Furniture Showroom?
In January 2020, we set up our website selling the odd bits of garden furniture and home furniture. In March 2020, COVID hit and this hugely impacted us. Even before we were told we had to close, footfall dropped and we made the decision to close the cafe. Soon after, everywhere closed but we decided to continue online. This proved to be the best decision we made as we wouldn't be here today otherwise.

In April 2020, I (Emma) came to help out Dad and Garry and I enjoyed it that much, I stayed!

We were working 7 days a week to ensure the business ran smoothly, delivering all over the UK to customers who ordered online. Our small team expanded, as well as the online garden furniture sales.

When businesses were allowed to re open, we decided to go to an appointment only system to protect our staff members.

After careful consideration, we decided to re open the cafe as a coffee lounge, this way we could operate with just one member of staff. Although we miss the amazing cafe, it would never have survived now with needing almost 10 members of staff, stock costs rising, not to mention electricity!

Now we have become garden furniture specialists, customers are travelling from far and wide to see us, appreciating what we do and supporting a family run business; just look at our 5* reviews.

We understand that not everyone is looking for garden furniture, so we will still be selling luxury garden accessories, barbecues, bird care, water features & solar lighting.

Our coffee lounge will remain open serving hot drinks, cakes and light snacks.

This decision has been the best we have ever made as a family and we really enjoy what we do. We believe now is the right time to fully make the transition and focus on selling excellent quality garden furniture which is a high percentage of our turnover.

Thank you for your continued support!
