Delivered by Duxburys Home and Garden - Wherever possible, we always try to deliver the goods ourselves. If you live within a 100 mile radius of our store, one of our Duxbury delivery drivers will bring the goods to you and help assist you. If you live further a field (although we do long journeys a few times a week too!) one of our dedicated partners will deliver your goods. At the checkout you have two options: speedy pallet delivery - this will be brought to your house but will be left on a pallet for you to unpack (not a problem in most cases) alternatively you can select hand delivered - this will be brought to your house and left by a one or two man team depending on the weight.

Dispatched - The term dispatch means when the items leave our warehouse and have been collected by the courier
We sell products of all different shapes and sizes which means we use multiple couriers and delivery services.
For smaller items we only ever use a tracked service, this could be APC or DHL. If you have preference please let us know when ordering. Once your item has been dispatched you will receive notification of the couriers information and a personal tracking number.
For larger items -
Local Delivery - All deliveries within the local area will be delivered by Duxburys Home and Garden. You will be contacted and informed of a delivery day.
Palletised Delivery - This is the quickest service and can be delivered next day if required. If a chosen day is not discussed with ourselves during the order process then the courier will contact you to arrange the most convenient day. The courier will always provide you with a tracking number.
Please note: All pallet deliveries will be left on most convenient hard standing, this could be kerbside. If we are delivering within your area we may delivery ourselves.
Hand Delivery - Please allow up to 7 days for delivery once the items have been dispatched. Our hand Delivery company will provide you with options regarding delivery date and time. The courier will always provide you with a tracking number. They will carry the goods to the front of property. If we are delivering within your area we may delivery ourselves.
CANCELLATIONS, RETURNS & REFUNDS
If you are a UK/EU consumer, you have the legal right, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to cancel your order within 14 working days following the receipt of your order.
If you wish to cancel a product you have ordered from us, please be aware of the following scenarios and the terms that apply:
- I want to cancel the order prior to dispatch: by law, you are permitted to cancel your order prior to dispatch but please contact Duxburys Home and Garden as soon as possible so that we can minimise the overheads and inconvenience of any costs incurred. This should be by telephone and confirmed with an email.
- I want to cancel or change the order after the items have been dispatched; once your order has been dispatched please be aware any changes made or cancellation requests will incur a courier charge. Please note these charges are subject to your location. Or alternatively, the goods can be returned back to Duxburys Home and Garden at your own cost once delivery has been accepted.
- I want to return damaged products: If the products you receive are damaged on delivery, you should notify Duxburys Home and Garden as soon as possible so that we can organise collection, refund or substitution without charge to you.
- We want you to be delighted with your purchase but if you are not you can return any item by notifying us of your intentions in writing within 14 days of receiving your purchase. This 14 day period begins the day after you receive the items from us. Once you have notified us you have a further 14 days to return them to us unused and in their original packaging. We are always very disappointed on the rare occasions our customers receive a faulty item. If you have identified a fault, let us know within 30 days of purchase and return the item to us for an exchange or a full refund. If not reported within this timeframe we reserve the right to refuse a full refund. As above in cases where Duxburys Home and Garden deems inappropriate misuse or in instances where the product/s has been tampered with by a third party, we are not obligated to issue a replacement/full refund.
What if my items are not in stock yet?
These items are classed as Pre-Orders. On all pre-orders they will show an estimated stock due date on the product page. These items are not physically in our store yet but you are able to pre-order them to avoid disappointment of them selling out. Full payment will be required the reserve your goods.
We give estimated delivery dates based on information provided direct from our suppliers. These are offered to our customers in good faith but due to the nature of the industry and supply chain these dates are estimated and may change. We work extremely hard here at Duxburys to keep our customers informed every step of the way.
What happens to the packaging?
To ensure everything arrives safely, we may use additional packaging. On larger furniture deliveries we may use a pallet. Our delivery partners are not able to collect or remove any packaging or pallets, therefore it is your responsibility to dispose of any packaging. We advise recycling whenever possible.
